Who are TabTrade?

Introduction

TabTrade is a global multi-asset broker launched in 2025 and built around a straightforward proposition: institutional-style trading conditions without unnecessary complexity. The broker is aimed squarely at traders who prioritise cost efficiency and execution quality, delivering 0.0 pip average spreads, leverage up to 1:1000, and a clean three-tier account structure that scales from casual traders through to high volume professionals.

The infrastructure runs through Equinix’s LD5 data centre in London, a facility used by banks, prime brokers, and institutional trading firms  meaning execution quality and latency are genuinely competitive at the retail level. MetaTrader 5 is the main platform currently with TradingView and cTrader integrations still in the pipeline. The asset range covers all major classes: forex, indices, commodities, metals, shares, US stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies, making TabTrade a practical multi-market option rather than a specialist forex-only broker.

TabTrade (Mauritius) Ltd is incorporated and registered in Mauritius (Company Number: 236339) and is regulated by the Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (FSC) under Licence Number GB26206419, with its office at Office 15, Floor 1, CentrePoint, Trianon, 72257, Mauritius. The group also includes TabTrade Ltd, which is registered in Saint Lucia as an International Business Company under the International Business Companies Act (Registration Number: 2025-00919), with its registered office at Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet LC01 401, Saint Lucia. Client funds are held in segregated accounts, and the broker operates with internal AML and CFT policies aligned to regulatory standards.

TabTrade Fees

TabTrade’s pricing is transparent and well differentiated across its three account tiers. The Standard account carries no commission: costs sit entirely within the spread, which starts from 1.0 pips. That is a familiar and easy-to-manage structure for less active traders who want predictable per-trade costs without a separate commission line to factor in.

The Edge account drops to raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a commission of $3.50 per side, or $7.00 round turn per standard lot. On the most traded major forex pairs, where the raw spread is frequently near zero, that puts the total cost of a round turn towards the lower end of what most raw-pricing brokers offer, though the spread is added to the commission rather than included in it. For active traders and scalpers, this is a genuinely competitive all-in cost on liquid pairs.

The VIP account offers near-zero spreads with commission set at custom rates, agreed individually and aimed at high-volume traders.

One exception to the tier structure: cryptocurrencies attract a percentage-based commission regardless of account type, so the commission-free description of the Standard account applies to conventional instruments rather than digital assets.

TabTrade charges no internal deposit fees, though external banks, card issuers, payment processors, crypto networks and currency conversion providers may levy their own. On inactivity the broker is unusually clear: no inactivity fees are charged at all, and dormant accounts are archived rather than eroded by monthly deductions. Overnight swap charges apply to positions held beyond the daily rollover. These are passed through from liquidity providers and vary by instrument, position size and direction.

A swap-free variant is available, but it is gated rather than open: TabTrade grants it for religious reasons only, on request to support after account verification. It covers major and minor forex pairs, indices, metals and selected shares. The broker notes that additional costs apply on the account in place of swaps, but these are not published, so traders considering it should ask for the specific figures before switching.

Finally, active Edge traders have the option of TabTrade+, a subscription priced at $59 per month or $588 per year, with a founding-member rate of $348 per year locked until 31 December 2026. It returns $1 cash back per eligible lot traded and bundles complimentary VPS hosting and priority support. For anyone trading meaningful volume, that rebate materially reduces the effective round-turn cost and is worth folding into the comparison. It is not available on Standard or VIP accounts.

The $0 minimum deposit on the Standard account remains a meaningful differentiator for traders who want to start small or test the platform before committing larger capital. Edge requires $250 and VIP $25,000.

Accounts/Membership Levels

TabTrade offers three live account types, a demo account, and a swap-free option. The structure is logical and well-differentiated, with each tier stepping up in pricing sophistication to match the needs of increasingly active or professional traders.

All live accounts connect through the same Equinix London infrastructure the comparison table lists LD5 identically for Standard, Edge and VIP so execution quality is consistent regardless of which tier a trader selects. A demo account is available for those who want to explore the platform and conditions without risking real capital, running on the same live pricing as funded accounts, though TabTrade publishes little detail on its virtual balance or duration. The swap-free account is presented as a fourth account type in its own right rather than an overlay on the existing tiers, and access is restricted: TabTrade grants it for religious reasons only, on request to support following account verification. It covers major and minor forex pairs, indices, metals and selected shares.

Trading Platforms

MetaTrader 5 is TabTrade’s platform, available in desktop, browser and mobile formats the WebTrader option is the MT5 web terminal rather than a separate proprietary product, launched from the Secure Account Portal with no installation required. MT5 builds on the MT4 foundation with broader asset class support, an improved order management system, a built-in economic calendar, and more advanced charting. Traders already familiar with the MetaTrader environment will find the experience immediate and intuitive, while those new to the platform benefit from one of the most widely documented and supported retail trading environments in the world.

Platform choice is currently the offering’s weakest point. Both cTrader and TradingView are listed as coming soon rather than available, so MT5 is effectively the only route in. When cTrader does arrive it will bring the cTrader Automate algorithmic suite and a following among traders who prefer its order handling; TradingView’s charting and research community are unmatched in the retail space. Both would broaden TabTrade’s appeal considerably once live, but neither should factor into a decision to open an account today.

Beyond the core platform, the broker supports algorithmic and automated trading, an economic calendar, and trading calculators. Copy trading runs through TabTrade Social, which is live across web, iOS and Android and allows users to follow traders at TabTrade or other brokers; a second service, DupliTrade, is announced but not yet available. VPS hosting is offered for algorithmic traders needing minimal execution latency, hosted in Equinix London, and comes bundled free with a TabTrade+ subscription. FIX API access is available for institutional-grade connectivity, though it requires a VIP account and therefore a $25,000 minimum. The broker’s global Equinix footprint — LD4/LD5 in London paired with NY4 in New York, covering the London and New York sessions — underlines the technical seriousness of the offering.

Mobile Trading App

4
Rating

Mobile access is provided through the MetaTrader 5 application for both Android and iOS, downloadable from the App Store and Google Play. The MT5 mobile app is a mature product, carrying across the core functionality of the desktop version, real-time quotes, interactive charting with technical indicators, one-click order execution, trade history, and full account management, across the full asset range of forex, metals, indices, commodities, shares and crypto. For traders who need to monitor open positions or react to market moves away from a desktop, the app handles the essentials reliably.

The charting tools retain the precision of the desktop experience on a smaller screen, and push notifications deliver instant alerts on trade execution, price movements and market updates. As with most mobile trading applications it doesn’t fully replicate the desktop platform, TabTrade specifically notes that Expert Advisors can only be run on desktop, but the depth of functionality available is well above what is strictly necessary for active position management on the move. TabTrade Social, the broker’s copy trading platform, also has dedicated iOS and Android apps, so followers can monitor and adjust their allocations from a phone.

Markets and Products

4.9

TabTrade covers a wide range of asset classes from a single account, all traded as CFDs rather than through direct ownership. Forex sits at the centre of the offering, supported by institutional liquidity and raw spreads from 0.0 pips on the Edge account and near-zero spreads on VIP. Beyond currencies, the broker provides access to indices, commodities, gold and silver, other metals, shares, ETFs and cryptocurrencies.

This breadth makes TabTrade a practical choice for traders who operate across multiple markets rather than concentrating exclusively on forex. The share range is genuinely global, US large-caps from the NYSE and Nasdaq are the headline draw, but Hong Kong names such as Alibaba and Tencent and European names such as Siemens and Volkswagen are also covered, with a minimum trade size of one share. The crypto offering gives CFD exposure to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and others without the cold storage, private keys or gas fees of a specialist exchange, though it’s worth noting that digital assets attract a percentage-based commission on every account type rather than the standard tier pricing. Specific instrument counts are not published, but the category range covers the key markets that the majority of retail and active traders require.

Customer Service

5

Customer support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week across live chat, email, phone and WhatsApp. That is a strong offering many brokers restrict support to business hours, which creates obvious problems for traders with positions open outside those windows. Round the clock coverage is particularly relevant for a broker serving a global client base operating across different time zones and market sessions, and the inclusion of WhatsApp suits clients in markets where it is the default messaging channel.

Live chat is the fastest route for routine queries and is accessible both from the website and inside the Secure Account Portal. Phone support is available on +1 838 368 3303 for clients who prefer a direct conversation, with general enquiries handled at support@tabtrade.com. The 24/7 model means pressing issues do not sit unanswered overnight, which matters when real money is at stake and market conditions are moving. Clients holding a TabTrade+ subscription receive priority handling and a dedicated support address, plus@tabtrade.com, though no specific response times are published for either tier.

Educational and research resources are the thinner part of the proposition. The education hub currently runs to a handful of items: a How-To Series covering account opening, funding, placing a first trade and managing risk, alongside The Trading Tabloid, a blog covering strategy, psychology and risk management. There are no video courses, webinars, glossary or in-house market research at this stage. The core support infrastructure, however, is solid from the outset.

Ease of Use

Account opening at TabTrade is designed to be quick, with the broker stating that traders can open, fund and place a first trade “in minutes”. The process runs to five steps: registering with an email address, choosing an account tier, completing verification, funding the wallet, and connecting the trading platform. The three-account structure is clearly explained on the website, making it straightforward to identify the appropriate tier based on experience level, trading style and capital.

The one caveat on speed is verification. TabTrade requires a government-issued photo ID and a recent proof of address, with further documents possible at compliance’s discretion, and publishes no approval timeline — so while registration itself is fast, the point at which a trader can actually deal depends on how quickly those checks clear. MetaTrader 5 is one of the most widely used retail trading platforms in the world, meaning the majority of new TabTrade clients will already have some familiarity with the environment, and connecting the platform using portal credentials adds only a small amount of time.

A broad range of funding methods is supported — bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Skrill, Neteller and cryptocurrency — with card and e-wallet deposits usually instant and bank transfers taking one to two business days. Withdrawals run from one business day for crypto to two to five for bank transfer, and TabTrade charges no fees on either side, though banks and payment providers may. Card withdrawals return to the original card up to the deposited amount, with profits paid out by alternative means, and all withdrawals must go to an account in the client’s own name.

The TabTrade website is clean and well-structured. Markets, account types, platforms and regulatory information are all clearly signposted and easy to navigate. The broker is positioning itself at the efficient, transparent end of the market, and the user experience reflects that intention — built around clarity rather than complexity.

Copy Trading and Client Programs

TabTrade’s copy trading runs through TabTrade Social, which lets traders automatically follow experienced traders from TabTrade or any other major broker. Full published performance records — trading history, live positions, drawdowns and returns are visible before allocating anything, and followers control their own allocation, can adjust risk at any time, and can stop following with a single click. Copied trades execute on the same spreads and infrastructure as manual trades rather than a marked-up feed. The platform is available via web browser and dedicated iOS and Android apps, with a Windows desktop app listed as coming soon. A second copy trading service, DupliTrade, has been announced and will sit alongside TabTrade Social in the Secure Account Portal, but it is not yet live.

TabTrade+ is an optional subscription on eligible Edge accounts, priced at $59 monthly, $588 annually, or $348 a year on the Founding Member plan available until 31 December 2026. It includes $1 cash back per eligible lot traded, complimentary VPS hosting, priority support and early access to new features, with a 7-day free trial available — though the VPS hosting is excluded from the trial and requires a paid subscription. Whether it pays for itself depends on volume: at the $588 annual rate the cash back alone breaks even at 588 lots a year, or roughly 49 lots a month, before placing any value on the VPS and priority support. It is worth running that calculation against your own monthly lot count before subscribing.

Separately, the TradePoints loyalty program awards 1 point per $1 on a first deposit up to 10,000 points, unlocked after trading 5 lots, and 100 points per lot thereafter up to 10,000 points monthly. Points are redeemable against experiences, though the published redemption levels are ambitious relative to the earning caps: entry to the Prop Trading Expo in Dubai is listed at 2,000 points, frequent flyer points at 115,000, and a Bali retreat at 134,000 — the latter two representing close to a year of trading at the maximum monthly rate. Full terms are published in a separate PDF.

TabTrade also runs a promotions hub carrying a 10% first deposit bonus for eligible new clients, credited automatically; a Regional Welcome Boost whose eligibility and payment methods vary by country; and a refer-a-friend scheme. The referral scheme is tiered rather than a flat headline figure: $100 to both parties where the referred client deposits over $500 and trades 5 lots, rising to $250 each where they deposit over $2,000 and trade 20 lots, with trades required to stay open at least 10 minutes and all conditions met within 30 days of account opening. There is no annual cap on referrals. All promotions are subject to eligibility and terms and conditions, and availability varies by region and account type, so they are worth reading in full before opting in.
